What does a consultation involve?

Our first consultation is all about getting to know you. We'll discuss your health history, eating habits, lifestyle, exercise routine and, most importantly, what you'd like to achieve. Together, we'll identify the challenges you're facing and the opportunities to help you move towards your goals.
Using this information, I'll develop personalised nutrition strategies that fit your lifestyle—not someone else's. Depending on your needs, this may include meal ideas, practical resources, recipes, education and goal setting, all grounded in the latest nutrition science.
Follow-up appointments give us the opportunity to review your progress, celebrate what's working, troubleshoot any challenges, and adapt our approach as your needs evolve. My goal isn't simply to tell you what to eat; it's to help you understand the 'why' behind the recommendations, so you can make informed, confident choices long after our work together.

Do I need a referral?

No, you don't need a referral. However, you may be entitled to a rebate if you have a Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCM) from your GP or specialist, DVA benefits, or if you have private health insurance.

Dietitian services can be claimed through Medicare or private health. For Medicare rebates, a care plan from your GP is essential. For private health - Confirm with your fund to ensure coverage.
